Strong Towns is a social initiative that aims to put the emphasis on small businesses. Statistical facts show that even a city block's worth of dated and cankered traditional small businesses can out perform "new and improved" auto-oriented developments by at least 40% in value (between improvement and land value). More specifically Strong Towns pays homage to some of the premier neighborhoods and towns making way for small and growing businesses. "Support Local" is a healthy initiative that stimulates employment opportunities and other aspects of the local economy. #BuyLocal
