Ridgewood Career Day!

I was invited by a student’s parent (close friends) to speak at Ridgewood Middle’s Career Day. It’s a school out in the Fox C-6 District. It was a fun day and I got to meet a lot of awesome folks of all ages and occupations. It was probably the longest and most tedious event that Ive entertained or educated at. Four or five classes back to back all of which were 30 - 40mins long to give the students an oral explanation (with some props) on the history and world of screen printing and small business ownership. It was a bit tedious but I think everyone came away with being a bit more in the “know”. “Cricut” was the main reference to shirt making, in juxtaposition to screen printing and how they differ. I think the students understood it though. I really enjoy educating the young minds about what it is that we do here at Onetime Supply Co.!

Thank you for having me, Ridgewood Middle. It's always a pleasure to be able to speak to the kiddos about adulting, owning your own business, and screen printing. They were a joy to be around and hopefully they learned a lot from myself and all the other professionals that attended Career Day!
